Patterns in this section come from historical textiles found in nowadays Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. They are dated from 9th to 14th century A. D. and include motives from various Baltic tribes such as Samogitians, Latgalians, Semigallians, Livonians etc.
These patterns have in common that many of them are made by 2-hole technique.
