Medieval Latvian ribbon made of plant dyed yarns

Length: 235 cm

Width: 1,7 cm

Material: 100% Norwegian wool

Colours: red (madder), yellow (birch foliage)

This ribbon is based on an archeological find from Madonas region in Latvia. It was roughly dated to 9-13th century. I dyed the yarns myself to match the band's original colours.
