Tablet woven belt based on medieval band from Zasinas, Lithuania

Length: 200 cm (+ 5 cm tassels on each end)

Width: 2 cm

Colours: yellow, red, green

Material: 100% Norwegian wool

Location: 9-11th century Lithuania

Inspired by an archeological find from Žąsinas, a site in Lithuania 🇱🇹 Once it was home of Samogitians, an ancient Baltic tribe. The tablet woven band fragment was found alongside a sword and other grave goods that allowed to date the burial to 9-11th century.

This is a my own variation on the pattern.
