This is my 7th band with this pattern, this time made of finer finer yarns and longer than ever before. It can be worn as a long belt or cut into smaller pieces and sewn on a garment.
Pattern's background consists of three horizontal stripes. The main pattern is a repeating Viking rune Gar (symbol of Gungnir) and symbol of Unity of elements. This belt is not a historical replica, it is my own artistic expression.
The first one, a big diamond crossed by two lines is Gar. It was used as a sign of Gungnir, a legendary spear of Viking god Odin which never misses the target and always returns to his master's hand. It can be interpreted as a symbol of causality and action-reaction principle.
The second symbol, consisting of five united rhombuses, can be interpreted as a symbol of earth element.
