This handwoven band is long enough to nicely decorate a shirt, vest, har or apron. It is strong enough to be cut and used as a narrow belt, strap or headband.
Band was woven of very fine yarns. They are also spun differently than knitting wool.
Present pattern is not a copy of a historical artifact, it was only inspired by traditional red and white ribbons from European folk costumes.
