The band is woven using historically accurate two hole technique. It is long enough to decorate a tunic or serve as a belt.
The original comes from a salt mine in Hallstatt, Austria. Even though it was buried in salt since the Iron Age, this diamond patterned trim on a shirt cuff was wonderfully preserved.
