This is a 1:1 scale reconstrution of tablet woven band from 10th-12th century Viking burial site situated in nowdays Russia. I based my interpretation on fragments depicted in Archaeological textiles of the 10th to the 12th century from the Gaigovo barrow group (Russia, Leningrad area) by authors Kochkurkina and Orfinskaya. The original band fragment was wonderfully preserved and colours are still visible. This band was woven using two-hole method.
