Present pattern is based on a design published by late Edmund Sveen, a skilled Norwegian weaver focused on local national folk costumes and related handcrafts.
This is one of my favourites because it suits both historical costumes and modern coats. It combines popular curl design, which comes originally from Ottoman empire, with diamonds into an elaborate, eye-catching pattern on a plain background and adds a kind of luxury feeling to the outfit.
