Colours: brown (factory dyed), golden yellow (yellow onion skins), green (birch leaves and iron mordant)
This long belt is crafted from plant dyed yarns in shades of yellow and green. I dyed them myself with material collected from Norwegian nature and my kitchen.
The pattern outlines are made from vintage brown yarn, purchased in our local thrift store. The simplicity of the design, along with the repurposed material, create an interesting and one-of-a-kind piece with low ecological impact as a bonus.
