Material: handspun 100% NHS wool (NHS = Norwegian white sheep)
Colours: natural white, natural grey
There was put a lot of work in this one! I spun the woolen thread myself on a vintage spinning wheel. Then I plied it into fine 2-ply yarn. Finally, I threaded tablets and wove this belt. Pattern is loosely based on Viivi Merisalo's work (inspired by Finnish Iron Age), revised and published in Maikki Karisto's and Mervi Pasanen's book Applesies and Fox Noses.
