Colours: pale yellow (yarrow), grey-green (yarrow + iron), dark grey-green (yarrow on grey wool)
There are rather few archeological finds of tablet woven bands in Lithuania as local soil does not preserve textiles well. This is based on one of those rare finds - a fragment from Bikavėnai (Šilutė region).
This band is made of pure Norwegian wool. I dyed all the yarn myself with yarrow I collected in my yard. The darkest green on borders is locally produced, cruelty free villsau wool, which is an ancient breed.
