This narrow band is made of soft wool. It can be worn as a hair accessory, narrow belt or as a trim on clothing. The band is made by two-hole tablet weaving.
Various versions of this motive can be found in Carelian Iron Age Finland, medieval Latvia and Viking age Staraya Ladoga.
