This belt is handwoven of thicker threads than I normally use. It has smooth and soft surface, however, the pattern seems almost 3D. I really enjoyed weaving it.
This type of pattern is nicknamed "Egyptian diagonals", however, I used a slightly different technique than is traditionally used for it. I chose two-hole tablet weaving to avoid the belt becoming too chunky. The result is a striking belt in contrasting colours that is easy to style.
