This belt is a perfect way to add a historicising touch to clothing. The blue colour is perfect for mid and high status historical costume and is suitable for multiple uses. I used yarns that I either thrifted or inherited. There are small segments in the pale blue yarn that were discoloured during the many years it was stored. I see it as a feature that gives the finished product an aura of uniqueness and real human handwork.
