Colours: bright red, midnight blue, dark blue, pale grey
The belt is woven using historically accurate two hole technique wich creates this attractive net-like backround structure. I used yarns that give high contrast to make the pattern stand out.
The motive comes from pre-christian Estonia. It is one of many motives that appear on medieval shawls from Siksälä.
