Band made of plant dyed wool (medieval Latvian style)

Colours: dark yellow (st John's wort), light yellow (lady's mantle), grea-green (lady's mantle + iron)

This decorative band is handwoven on tablets using fine Norwegian wool I dyed myself. The contrast is quite subtle and it fits medium status persona.

Its simple pattern was inspired by traditional Latvian folk costume bands with history running back to pre-christian medieval times.
