Anyone remembers mocha mousse? The colour of the year 2025? No? Because it's so 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘦.
Do you know what is also beige, but unforgettable? The two skeins that I dyed with rotting mushrooms. They smelled so intensely that I am not allowed to repeat the dyeing experiment inside the house. Ever. The foul odour has disappeared, but memories are still vivid. Now you have a chance to own a belt with a story. Don't worry, it does not smell like rotten mushrooms, I promise!
The pattern is loosely based on finds from Viking age settlement in Birka, Sweden.
