For reenactors (and more)
Tablet weaving is a textile technique with long tradition in Norway. It
is one of the oldest known weaving techniques that do not require a
loom. Therefore are tablet woven bands usually the first choice for
decoration of historical costumes.
Historical patterns

Plant dyed and undyed yarns
Explore collectionDesigns in this shop are frequently based on historical artifacts. To make them even more authentic, some of them are made of naturally coloured and plant dyed yarns I dyed all by myself.
-
Plant dyeing
Explore collectionPlant dyeing is my passion together with weaving. I prefer to use plants that can be collected in Norwegian nature, such as lichens, tree bark and wild flowers.
-
The creator
About meI am not a reenactor myself even though I love historical crafting. I do occasionally teach tablet weaving and plant dyeing in Nordhordland and Bergen.

Do you need something special?
How to place custom oredersAsk me if I could make something especially for you via Instagram, Email or page chat. Please, consider that I have a full time job besides this little business and that I am limited by my skills and material availability.

Care instructions
Care instructionsI use mostly wool. That is a material which needs fairly little washing. Most of dirt can be brushed away with a soft brush. Otherwise I recommend handwashing with wool detergent. Never use tumble dryer! More information in FAQ section
